SPORTS ACADEMY UPDATE


This
UNIQUE SCHEME THAT IS WORKING AND TAKING KIDS OFF THE STREETS NOW HAVE 69 MEMBERS AND GETTING BIGGER AND ALREADY 10 BEEN RINGFENCED FOR THE 2012 GAMES.
 
THIS IS ALL BEEN OPERATED BY TESSA AND HER SMALL GROUP OF EXPERIENCED EX-BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SPSORTSMAN AND ONE WOMAN AND VISITING THE ACADEMY FOR THE PAST 12 WEEKS HAS BEEN INDIAN ATHLETES WHO WERE LOOKING TO COMPETE IN THE BEIJING GAMES AND OUT OF A PARTY OF 19 - 2 HAVE QUALIFIED WHILST IN UK  - for more info click here

Tessa Sanderson CBE

Tessa has competed in SIX Olympic Games, which in itself is a record, which resulted in winning a gold medal in the javelin event in 1984. Tessa has won many other major medals including three times Commonwealth Gold and the last being a World Cup Gold in Cuba in 1990. In the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and competing in her 5th Olympics she finished an incredible 4th place in the final.
