Children First Campaign
Progress Children's Services has launched the 'Placing Children First' campaign to find supportive foster carers for some of the most vulnerable and challenging looked-after young people in the West Midlands.
The
agency matches these more demanding children to foster carers, providing
a therapeutic support package including education and health coordinators
to help the carer succeed in their placement. It's crucial the children
are restored quickly into calm and progressive family settings to provide
the positive experiences they need. The alternative for these vulnerable
children is less than attractive having to resort to group care in institutionalised
environments where they may not achieve their potential. Tessa is supporting
